Position, rotation, and scale invariant optical correlation.
A new optical transformation that combines geometrical coordinate transformations with the conventional optical Fourier transform is described. The resultant transformations are invariant to both scale and rotational changes in the input object or function. Extensions of these operations to optical pattern recognition and initial experimental demonstrations are also presented.
متن کاملImproving security of double random phase encoding with chaos theory using fractal images
This study presents a new method based on the combination of cryptography and information hiding methods. Firstly, the image is encoded by the Double Random Phase Encoding (DRPE) technique. The real and imaginary parts of the encoded image are subsequently embedded into an enlarged normalized host image. DRPE demands two random phase mask keys to decode the decrypted image at the destination. T...
متن کاملEfficient Text Encryption and Hiding with Double-Random Phase-Encoding
In this paper, a double-random phase-encoding technique-based text encryption and hiding method is proposed. First, the secret text is transformed into a 2-dimensional array and the higher bits of the elements in the transformed array are used to store the bit stream of the secret text, while the lower bits are filled with specific values. Then, the transformed array is encoded with double-rand...

متن کاملShift and scale invariant detection
Di erent signal realizations generated from a given source may not appear the same. Time shifts, frequency shifts, and scales are among the signal variations commonly encountered. Time-frequency distributions (TFDs) covariant to time and frequency shifts and scale changes re ect these variations in a predictable manner. Based on such TFDs, representations invariant to these signal distortions a...
